Magog Cartel
Like Max said the real start was after the Alchemy Age. The glukkons began to manufacture goods for the khanzumerz (for unknown reasons). Eventually the business grew, they enslaved the mudokons, etc... and the Magog Cartel was formed.
My Theory:
I believe that the khanzumerz were once an incredibly powerful race who could have wiped out the citizens of Mudos. The glukkons began making goods for them so that they wouldn't get their butts kicked. Over time the 'zumerz got weak and lazy but since glukkon society depended so much on the moolah they recieved from the 'zumerz that they continue to make goods for them. Even though the moolah means nothing to the 'zumerz who don't have to work, to the glukkons it is what their life and success depends on.
