I walked back out into the party, which was very much more alive than the Don's office. A stripper came up to me and put her arms around me, she was really drunk.

"HEya bOy! wHatChA doIn?" I looked at her.

"Get off me!" And I put my hand on her face and pushed her back into a couch by the Don's office.

"wElL HEY! tHaT wAs rUdE! yOU lIttLe pR*Ck!" I continued to walk away. I didn't have time for a slut like that anyway. I made my way through the dancing crowd. Some 70's group dance song was playing and disco lights were spinning everywhere.

"Senor Cortez! May I have a word?" I yelled over to Paublo.

He made his way over to me.

"Why of course Danny, what do chu need?"

"Senor Cortez-" He interrupted.

"Please, Danny. Call me Paublo." I kind of ignored that.

"Paublo, I was wondering if I might discuss a contract of business obligations to you?" He paused and then smiled.

"So chu are dis famous contract killer dat I ave eard so much about? Why I always need help in Columbia, perhaps then we can negotiate terms of business." He slapped my back and gave a hardy laugh.

My eyes surveyed the crowd of people and then landed in the open doors to the main hall. At exactly that moment, a gorgeous women walked through the doors of the main hall. Long black hair, dark brown eyes, a very seductive blue dress, and a corsage wrapped around her wrist. All I could think to say was,

"Hell.......yes......."

I left Paublo standing were he was to go introduce myself to the new guest. But halfway down I saw Joey get to her first. I listened to what he was saying.

"Ey Catrina, how has my lil sis been ey?" DAMN! It was his sister, thats gonna be harder to work around. I walked on down and said to Joey,

"Well Joey, aren't you going to introduce me to your lovely guest." Joey gave me an uncertain look.

"Why uhhh sure. Catrina, this is Danny Bauhmer a business associate of Pop's, and Danny, this is Catrina Pachini, my sister!" She put her hand out, I leaned down and kissed it. She smiled and giggled.

"It's nice to meet you too." She said.

"Ey Danny, can I have a word with ya?" Joey beckoned me down a hallway, I stood by his side when he suddenly pinned me up against the wall. "What are you tryin to pull?"

"I'm not trying to pull sh*t! Now put me down!" Joey pushed harder.

"I can tell she likes you, and if anything happens between you two, and she comes home to me and Pop with a broken heart, I'm gonna kill you! YOU GOT THAT! I'll f*cking kill you!" He slammed me hard up aginst the wall and dropped me. I got up and rolled my shoulders and dusted myself off.

"Damn Sicilian punk!" I said quietly to myself.
