If anything, I would imagine the shrink would be severely depressed, and slightly masochistic. I mean, a machine that is self aware is automatically proned to boredom, sadness, and anger.

I'm sure that a machine/robot that was devoted to making one thing happy and stable, all the time, would eventually become quite resentful of that creature, or even worse, it's species.

It also wouldn't surprise me, if that by the time we meet the shrink, he's gone insane. His shelf life isn't exactly short, you know.

I actually would like it alot of he was insane when we meet him...it would really get that dark, gritty feel back to the game. A nice touch, since MO was so childish, and 'bright' feel.
