You're going to have a very lonely time at uni then. Just turn to the person next to you in a lecture and say "Hi, I'm Jacob". If you decide that you don't like them (knowing you, you probably will) then you can avoid them the next lecture.

And you seem to be getting geeks confused with dorks. Geeks are proud of what they are: they are not maladjusted losers. They have many friends (admittedly they are mostly online) and actually have very careful fashion sense. No designer jeans or sunglasses; rather they wear everything black and try to look as much like Keanu Reeves in the matrix as possible. The only concession to colour would be a MicroSith T-shirt.
Geeks are NOT losers. Rather they have a different set of values to everyone else. Much like you, Jacob, have a different set of values to everyone else.
POSTSCRIPT: I am not a geek. I just know a lot of them as I do an engineering course.
