Part 2

*Setting: The room was silent. White light shone from the overhead lights and on the right hand side monitors beeped their rythmic tune. On the other side lay one chair in which the Orkhid Cornesh was sat. Aisha lay unconcious on the white bed. The sheets upto her chest, her arms out of the covers and black blood staining her golden hair. Her breathing was slow yet stable. Many of the medical staff did not care for the little 8 yr old. Merely because she was nothing more than a germ, according to them. They felt ashamed that Cornesh was milling about her, it was sickening. Out of the room and down the corridor Janek was storming to the room which held the little girl. His black boots hit the white marble floor hard and his black, red seemed lab coat with the upturned coller, which he wore with pride, glided behind him. Following him were two troops, they, too, were dressed in black but their clothing consisted of leather and dark-grey armour. They each carried a Socom equipped with laser sight and a powerful M-4 Carbine Rifle. Each of them had a stern expression on their faces and little stubble. Both seemed to mean buisness.*

Cornesh: "Dont worry, as soon as you get better...I'll make sure that you arn't forced to compete anymore in the fencing..."

The chunky Scientist stroked the unconcious Orkhids hair, speaking softly to her. He was worried she would never wake up and if she did, he was worried that the same thing may happen again. His chubby fingers ran through her blood stained hair, she looked so vulnerable. As he spoke to her and attemtped to get her to wake up the door was sharply opened. Turning Cornesh saw Janek.

Cornesh: "What do you want?"

His voice was low and after saying this he turned back to his main concern. The Consultant smirked and stepped into the room, followed by the Guards. He sighed and shook his head from side to side slowly...

Janek: "Come, come Cornesh. Surely you must understand that this rediculous crusade to protect such a vile thing is never going to pan out to your advantage..."

The Scientist grunted a reply and picked up the limp hand of Aisha, grasping it tightly.

Janek: "How is she doing, then?"

His voice was still as cold as ever and held little, if no, compassion. Turning his head Cornesh grunted.

Cornesh: "Stable. A 50/50 chance of pulling through..."

He seemed to say it in a hopeful way, but it was obvious he was worried sick. Janek rolled his head around, cracking emitted from his neck. Slowly he stepped over to her, his black clothing and white face made him seem like the mod-con version of Death. He lowered his head and bent his back to get a closer look at the girls face, smirking at the pinkish face of the 'abnormal' creature that he looked down upon so much.

Janek: "I must remember to thank the creature who did this...heh."

Cornesh looked up at him menacingly. Angry at his compassionless words. But as he did so Aisha' eyes shot open, her saffire blue eyes seemingly glowing in the bright-light of the room.

Cornesh: "AISHA!?"

His voice was thrilled and he nearly jumped up in the air and kissed her, but all was not well. As Janek stared at the little AIDS victim her blue eyes were devoured as her eye blood vessels seemed to pop. Black engulfed her entire eye ball and a low snarl erupted from her throat. Janek's grey eyebrows narrowed at the sight of what was happening, slowly her mouth opened and as it did Janek noticed that the girl was missing four teeth. Two top K9 teeth and two bottom K9 teeth (The teeth that go at the side of your front ones). This gave her a strange Rabbit sort of look, but his attention soon got disrupted as she snarled at him. Her eyes as black as coal gave the girl a terrifying essence. However, Janek had seen many worse things than this and smirked at the female before raising a gloved fist and punching her once in the face. She immediatly went unconcious again and Janek straightened up, rubbing his knuckles and smiling.

Janek: "Wvell...wvasn't that informative. DR?"

He called out to one of the Dr's, awaiting a response. Cornesh was close to tears and looking at Janek with utter hatred. He combed Aisha' hair out of her face with his hands and felt to see if she had a pulse. A couple of moments later a Orkhid in a white jacket wandered in, brushing past the armed Guards.

Dr: "Somebody call...?"

Janek turned from looking at the limp body and addressed the creature.

Janek: "Yes, i wvant this female to be kept under observation at all times, you hear me? I think she may of reached the stage wve've all been waiting for."

He smiled and then lowered his voice to a low mumble, placing his head at the side of the Dr's so his mouth was right next to the ear.

Janek: "Put her in the prepared compartment and make sure she has no interaction with the pure bloods. Not even him."

Pointing over his shoulder with his thumb he directed the 'him' at Cornesh.

Janek: "Understood?"

His voice was at the normal tone now and he smiled happily at the Dr, whom nodded and agreed. Turning the Consultant smiled at Cornesh and nodded to him before leaving the room with the Guards, the chubby Orkhid turned his head away in disgust and continued talking to his friend...

Sykes: "So, my theory was correct!?"

Sykes was sat in his office, the black phone on speaker so he did not have to hold the reciever. He was listening to Janek' report on Aisha.

Janek: "Yes. As soon as i mentioned her beating she awoke...Although, the troubling thing was her eyes. They...they turned black."

Sykes span a blue pen in his hand and nodded.

Sykes: "Yes, the others have been saying that, that has been happening. Its likely to be a side effect from the Nanobots floating around her body. Not to worry, so long as she keeps on track, heh."

There was a brief moment of silence on the other end of the line. Finally Janek spoke.

Janek: "So...wve're keeping her alive? For wvhat exactly?"

Sykes: "Dont worry, Janek. I know how much you hate defects...We're going to kill her, just as soon as she's been...hmmm...explored."

A slight laugh came from Sykes, closely followed by Janek. After this they both said their goodbyes and hung up. Waiting with baited breath for another day...
