1.Gr.......*wacks self on head until she remembers* I think they might be Dienonychus, and Oviraptor, just a Kindergarden educated guess, but it's worth a shot.

2.Easy, the whole herd got in a circle, putting the young ones in the middle, the adults faught off the predator, until it either died, or ran away. This is the same technique used by wild buffalo today.
