Sure, why not? Sydney knows all about that particular sort of banning. He made it quite clear that if people's opinions were against him, it was okay to ban without hesitation or warning.

That's being a bit harsh. I don't know quite what went on last night (since you refuse to tell me), but Sydney has hardly been a dictator. Pinky's still here. Statikk's still here, Surfacing's still here. You'd be hard put to find anyone who has ever been on the forums whose opinions differ from Sydney's more than those three... Until last night, the only people I've known Sydney to ban have been people who have deliberately broken the Forum Rules, who have abused other members, or who have spammed incessantly. He also gave adequate warning in every case.
