I don't see why you would smack them when ignoring them would work a lot better. If they continue crying, continue ignoring them.

Yeh, i know. But i meant if the crying goes further. Such as throwing things, cussing and hitting. Then tap them, if they still dont stop put them in the bedroom til they calm down.

Edit: The biting fetish thing was a mere, vaguely amusing comment not to be taken seriously. Also he was shouting "Bite me, Bite me" when he got picked up by the police after harassing a German exchange student whom he thought was a Vamp.
