It is truly sadening when a loved one dies, or gains a life threatening disease which could possibly kill them.
I knew one of my grandfathers for only a short time until he died, I would only have been a child still and yet those memories even though I do not remember them all, are still some happy times. Sadly my sister was even younger and so even less time had she with him. What is most bad is that my brother never even saw him, he was born after my grandfather had died.
At least my grandfather got to see my brother while in my mothers womb.
Atusiya@, you've probably heard this before, but for as long as he is still alive you should make sure you visit and talk to him, but dont treat him as if he is dying. You are at the age where you know what death is, which is good. I didn't understand it when my grandfather died.
However I hope that he makes it through, as you will have more time with him. I truly hope things go well.
