Snek bowed his head in gratitude. At least someone in the past 24 hours had a heart. He gathered his equipment and gently placed it the back, making sure that it was secure. Scratching his middle facial tentacle casually, he manuevered his mechanical lower half into the passenger seat and sat down, glad to be able to rest for at least a bit.
The headlights revealed that the road was clear of any traffic, as Snek had suspected. To their right was the forest, shrouded in the blackest of darkness. Looming to their left was a chain of weathered mountains. This was far different from the lands of his previous journies.
Snek glanced to Blue and thanked her again for agreeing to give him a ride. He then tilted his head back and closed his tired eyes, allowing sleep to soak into his form.
