Like somebody said, we have many living pieces of tissue in us. Smokers kill tonnes of cells, do you go around pestering them? Drinkers kill cells also. We are talking about TISSUE...im sure the baby would rather die then be brought up with a family who didn't want it, are stressed, with low income. The child would most likely turn violent and then if that has kids it'd start this chain reaction of Townie children. And everybody hates Townies.

Your financial situation is critical and your barely going to get by if you have another child, so, your mother is pondering an abortion. Pinky, if a woman gets an abortion she isn't being selfish, she is thinking of her future and the people around her who may get hurt. Having the child would be selfish, as the father would be in deep shit and he would have to live with that regret for the rest of his life.
