Well it is possible that Sligs like many other creatures can all be renegades but it is not to my understanding that they would counter the Glukkons in anyway. seeing how the glucks are quick to influnce the sligs at birth, and Skillya would not find it amussing to see her children turn against her supporters the Glukkons. But perhaps there are one or two renegades but i still like my theory.
