By the by, i'm sure you'll agree with me when i say that Chimps and Dolphins are the cleverest mammals (Aside from us) on the planet. Well, it has been duely noted that some Dolphins are indeed gay/lesbian. And some Chimps (One which is in captivity now infact) are indeed lesbians/gay. And what do you mean animals dont know better? Their instinct is to breed and basically mate with as many females as they can. I'm sure a male/female animal can tell the difference between the sexes.
