I'm sure if there are Meeches left, there would be not only no industrial forces around but no native Mudokons or anything, becuase they seem to think Meeches are extinct as well.
Which makes we wonder if it would make a good aditional story-ette to have the Meech Weirdo in Abe's Exoddus be upset that there are no Meeches left. I think not, but it could have been interesting at least.
