I think there are Meeches somewhere on Oddworld. If there wasn't any left, there would be no need to introduce them in AO.

I think there was a point to introduce them as it shows how evil RuptureFarms was
.
I also think there are some meeches left hiding where no industrious person would go(then again sligs just break in any holy land eg monsaic lines).
