Personally I think it would make a great movie, because it would get to show us all the certain story line pieces that where cut out of the games, such as the formation of Abes moon that was suposed to be in the beging of AE. As far as the Habitales goes that would make a pretty boring movie sience the Habitales are kinda like Age of Empires where you build villages and stuff but without a real indepth plot.
