Just edit it. Your point, rather than working for your argument, just reinforces the notion that members should
THINK before posting. Plus, some people might try to cover up their behaviour by deleting entire topics that they started, and can't be punished because the evidence has vanished.

A Moderator can come along and delete the extra post, because that's what they're there for.
