Hey Xinos, here are the best answers I can give. There are some (not very many) creative liberties on my part but unless Lorne Lanning says otherwise you can accept them as fact since they make so much sense.
1. Abe is not a normal mudokon. He is the Chosen One of the mudokon race. A savior which prophicy spoke about. After he was born, the glukkons soon realized he had the natural ability to possess creatures with his chance. They stitched up his lips and solved the problem. When he grew, he was told that his lips were stitched up because as he child he had been very annoyingly talkative. That was the lie his bosses told to him and he had no way of learning the truth (until he learned how in AO). When his stitches loosened up the glukkons didn't care, they assumed Abe would never remember how to chant.
2. Abe ended up in Rupture Farms for no real reason. That was simply where he was assigned once he was old enough to work. The reason he became employee of the year was because he stayed after normal hours to do extra work. His superiors eventually recognized this and gave him the honor of employee of the year.
