Old Playground Games are being banned from recess...

Saw this on abcnews.com:

What the heck is this country (USA) coming too!? We are becoming overly obsessed with protecting our kids feelings and as a result they are not learning important life lessons. This country is going to become a country of wusses if this so called 'policital correctness' and 'protect the children from every little hurtful thing' continues!
Sure...I had my share of being picked last, bullied, etc, but I am a better person/dragon for it! I know I wouldn't win all the time, that life isn't fair, so on. Such lessons need to be taught at a young age, and the best way to do that is through those games they are banning.
Sure, I got hit with the ball in dodge ball, I justed learned to dodge better...in fact I was one of the best dodgers (though my throwing skills sucked). In fact dodge ball was one of my favorite games...in High School there was a more brutal version where their were many balls being tossed around instead of just one. FUN!
But now some overprotective parents and physcologists want to protect 'little johnny' and little amy' from the 'harsh' lessons that games like those teach us...BAH! How pathitic...is this what the country is coming too? God help us all...
