Perhaps I was overly sentimental in my last post. If you got the wrong idea, let me clarify: I value online friends against a completely different criteria used in real life.

I have actually met one member of the forums in Real Life: Tom came for a day trip to York once, and we met up for a while. I don't think I'll be repeating the experience, though; Tom is far more interesting online...
