Sal, I think you have a great idea. In fact, I'd thought about it myself. Are you using RM2K? I'm very familiar with it and have developed various original systems for various test games. One was a mailing system that sends out relevent replies!
Anyway, if you're interested, I have some Mudokon charsets taken directly from Exoddus. However, after reducing the images to the valid size they look kinda crappy. But at least they are unmistakably mud-like! I'd be happy to send 'em to you. I could even try for other charsets if you want me to.
And, if you take on a game, would you be at all interested in...well...having a helper? I'm interested, dut I don't want to impose, and I am on a pinchy sched.
