I asked Alf this question but he sort of avoided it. But in MO if you grab any power-up you can move the camera around and see that Abe or Munch (it's easier to see it with Abe)are drinking out of a can with a label that says Soulstorm Brew! Why would Abe or Munch be chuggin' Soulstorm Brew to run faster or jump higher?
