I agree with Khanzumer, another theory is that mabye a Slog is only loyal to the Slig who beat it. I remember in Abes Oddysee when you had possessed a Slig there where some Slogs you had to shoot be for the ate you but then at other times certain Slogs would listen to the Slig you possessed and kill the other Slig (my guess is that this Slog wasn't beaten at a you age by these certain Sligs.).
