Something to prevent Munch from 'chanting' would figure, but I doubt it would be mechanical - after all, he'd be able to possess it...!
I can imagine a 2D Oddworldworld game for Munch (I have difficulty imagining this scene in 3D) where Abe needs to possess a Slig, but there's a security orb. To overcome the situation he needs to drink SoulStorm Brew, then blow up the device that stops Munch from possessing stuff. Then Munch can possess and blow up the security orb. Okay, so I'm not a good level-deigner, but I tried.
A Slig wondering what's happening while his legs are doing the cancan would be...frankly, ballistik. But don't forget the Sligs have direct mind control over their legs, too.
