I don't play games much these days, for various reasons - my computer's shit, I can't afford them, and I don't play them often enough for it to be worth getting them.
The only games I really play much these days are wonderfully tacky old games that I can download - Lemmings, Arkanoid, Space Invaders, Tetris...
I also quite like strategy games, like the Civilisation series, or real-Time Strategy games like Age of Empires. But I don't play them often, for the reasons above...
I'm not too keen on Shooters, partly because I'm not very good at them, and partly because many of them are very similar and repetitive, and so can get boring. There are, however, several shining exceptions to this rule, such as Clive Barker's Undying, which is a brilliantly atmospheric game with an involved and interesting storyline... GTA3 is good as well, as are the Half-Life games.
