I think the reason people do not like oddworld is because it is very different, some people might think of it as too weird so they do not enjoy it, there are many reasons though. It is an opinion, I think the first oddworld-games were very interesting though. Munches game was not what I thought it was going to be but the story line was still quite exceptional.
