The main problem I see here (and on other posts on the forums, one of the main reasons I usually steer clear of controversial topics), is that people tend to like to say something against someone when they don't agree with them. In this post alone I have read many insults being thown around, and this is well after Justin has pointed out the problem.

Why can't people just accept that everyone is different. That we all have our own views, what we'd like to do. Yeah, sure we don't have to agree with things we don't agree with, but we also don't have to go putting someone down because of their opinion either.

Instead of saying somoene needs help because they want to get an Oddworld tattoo. Say that you wouldn't get one, and you really can't understand why anyone would get one. But don't tell the person who wants to get one they are wrong, etc.

It's the same with Jacob's situation. I don't like going out and partying and drinking and all of that. That's okay, that's just my opinion. But you won't see me condoning anyone who does that either. We all need to have an open mind towards everyone, be tolerant of others beliefs and ideas. I see that this does not happen often on these forums.

Relating to that, who cares if someone is not attractive, they don't act "cool", they are different, they have different views. We are all human, we were all created equal. And who says that what one person thinks is right is right... to another it is wrong. Jacob (sorry to signal out), keeps saying about picking on people or not being seen with someone who isn't attractive or that someone who lives their life differently has no life. Does that make those people any lesser of humans? You are not better than them. Remember you are equal to them.

And I just want to state the point that I do in fact know Justin a lot better than anyone else on this forum. And for those who are condoning him for the way he is an Oddworld fan... it is much more than that for him. I'm not going to explain, that's not for me to do, but I do know that what he says is the truth and he does what he does for a reason. I also know some of what he feels because I have somewhat experienced it myself (just not in such great impact). But it saddens me when I read people saying he is this and this and judging him, and I know for a fact that that is not the truth, it is not even close to it. And what is worse, these people do not even know him personally like I do.

In fact it's a shame when anyone says something about someone they do not know personally, and do not know is the truth. They just assume because their views are not in line with that other person's that they have the right to judge them.
