Yeps, OWI said all Skillya's brood was male - presumably excepting the other queens that she would be producing (like bees do, I think, only queens are rare)... I wonder what happens to the infant queens...? Does Old Lady Skillya just get their necks wrung so she doesn't have to share the profits with anyone? Hm, I wonder if they're all fertile males, or if there's a small number that are fertile but the rest are just sterile, again a bit like in bees, only bee drones/workers are female, I think. Soldier bees are male... Hm, that'd tie in with another of my pet theories (the "I hate the steriods explanation" one), that big brothers are actually a different class altogether, to account for their different bone structure... *wanders off rambling*
Oh, and I think I remember Alf saying (in the same answer to the one in which he said all sligs were male) that the slig in a dress was a game host(-ess).
He has to wear the dress (which must be kind of humiliating for the poor sod, although I think it's maybe on a par in the humiliation-stakes as that valet's outfit... ugh *shudders*) as there's no ladies to wear it.
