In the case of this one in particular it's probably just been due to the fact there's almost literally nothing to talk about in regards to Oddworld any more. I couldn't tell you why I'm here again today, this place just pops back into my brain every so often.
Soulstorm development was so secretive for almost 6 years and when it finally came out it was mediocre at best. There's only so many times people here can make threads akin to Oddysee good, Exoddus good, everything else bad. Will that be Oddworld Inhabitants' final game? Probably. And even dare I say, hopefully.
Some forums are still pretty active. I don't have an account there, but Resetera is one that springs to mind, with threads already relegated to the second page after less than half an hour if there've been no new replies.
I have a love/hate relationship with Reddit. It's probably the best place for news about any given subject you're into on the internet, but I hate how most people interact with one another there.
Having briefly delved into Discord sometime last year to see what all the fuss was about, I uninstalled it after 10 minutes and I'm pretty certain I'll never use it again.
