I'm pretty sure the antagonists of every single main Oddworld game (+ Stranger's Wrath) were undoubtedly corporate.

That doesn't make OWI as a developer any more anti-corporate any more than having an evil doctor as the villain of the Crash games makes Naughty Dog anti-vax.
Also keep in mind that we've seen
very little of the full story of the Quintology so far, and OWI have hinted many times that it's nowhere near as simple as "native good, industrial bad".
Anyway I'm not saying this is a good move from OWI at all, and it's totally understandable if you're disappointed, just
certain people are blowing it out of proportion.
