i really liked the Gunslinger robot. i feel like that character was like the original Terminator.

Yeah, he was terrifyingly relentless. I really liked that film, looking forwards to watching the series now. (completely unrelated, but I just remembered I need to finish Fargo too - loved the first series, only watched one episode of the 2nd)

oh man TPB is gold. we need Mac to weigh in, he's the one that got me into them. i don't know if you've seen any episodes with Ray in but he fucking cracks me up.

I actually don't think I have, I need to watch it from the beginning. I think I did see a few episodes of the first series years ago, but I've forgot pretty much everything about them.

Do it, you'll probably enjoy it. I was sceptical when I read the synopsis, because I wondered how much I'd be able to relate to a millionaire lead, but I quickly realised the writers gave him everything he could want materially so they could really dig into the roots of his misery.
Also, consider watching Moral Orel. First series was a bit slow at points, but that just gets funnier and funnier as it becomes more and more grim.
