Only if you think sacrificing a star cruiser large enough to require a minimum crew of 1,139 is the ultimate weapon, not to mention the only reason it worked was because the first order was targeting the escape pods while the vice admiral that had to kill themselves in order to do this turned the thing around. But hey this is a movie about space wizards who use swords made out of lasers so god damn it it has to fit into my understanding of it or it's shit.
