People can be harsh but are usually not blantantly "haters", theres a reason for criticism and its usually pretty constructive and people usually explain why. Or the bluntness could be a joke, we like to take jabs here or there.( some quotes you listed were out of context as well) The only person who controls how bad a comment bothers someone is the person recieving it. Criticism stings for a while sure but you gotta get over youself and roll with the punches, or chose to be paper thin and be hurt constantly, friend.
Thank you for the compliment but I dont think everyone should express their opinion only one way or delude their comment to spare feeling or just to be liked. I love/hate this forums accasional "rawness" personally
