Also is it just me or does it look like the Mudokon in the pic has something really wrong with its eyes? It looks all puffy/swollen right below the eye, maybe a sign that it has undergone the tear extraction procedure?

The eyes do look swollen but not in this image, to me anyway. The eyes look swollen in the picture with a mud in a chamber, but do remember that mud eyes do naturally pop out a little bit.
