Nah, Alcar wouldn't actually do it. Too much work. Nate's Iron Fist of Apathy, however, is very capable of dealing out swift and brutal punishment.

If the Admins are actually vaguely interested in having a new mod on here, they could work with an ounce of urgency and come to a decision, so that we have another person at the controls to make sure things are running smoothly. If they aren't interested, they should just say so so that this needlessly divisive thread can be closed.

I also agree. I still don't think we need a new moderator. Why not give Splat a buzz and see if he's interested in stopping by every once in a while? Or even Wil,
who just posted, ironically.
Even a few multis and some porn posts—the recent ones of which I'm convinced were only posted because of this thread—aren't going to send anyone scuttling away from the forums before they are deleted. Xavier still comes everyday, Nate is a frequent face, and Alcar is still our chosen saviour, watching over us silently from above. A new moderator seems like a non-sequitur to me.
