Nobody knows what Manco is; he's very introverted, which I think leaves some people feeling uneasy. It's hard to trust something you can't really fathom. 
I actually wouldn't mind Vlam as a moderator, for the same reasons MrsKJJ pointed out. He knows how to navigate this forum; he's tough but fair, and I think he walks a fairly neutral line for the most point, tending to be objective and base his observations upon evidence as opposed to his own personal thoughts and concerns.
