Melbourne, Australia, has interesting weather. In the summer, it gets to 40+ degrees and you cannot be inside without switching on the AC while being outside doesn't fare much better. In the winter, I've woken up able to see my breath inside, while outside, it was warm enough to wear only a paper-thin jacket. Though, perhaps that's more a comment on the insulation for the house I lived in.

Denmark itself is not entirely unlike the UK, from what I hear. The sun tends to steer clear in the winter and we sometimes get snow. Our summers are fairly mild, but still sunny enough that an overwhelming number of Danes get sunburned every year. Temperatures range from -5 on a cold winter night up to maybe 25 on a nice summer's day.

Big storms are rare, but they do come along and can sweep up a fair bit of damage. I think the last one we had blew a few shingles off my parents' roof. Nothing like the hurricanes or tornados in other parts of the world, but still not something you'd want to be caught in.

The weather in California, at least in Sonoma, where I grew up, is like something out of a book on paradise, when it's not in the middle of a drought. Temperatures almost never get to the point of even light frost in the winter and often go up to almost 30 in the summer, but rarely above. When I was a kid, it rained quite a lot, but because temperatures are so mild, it was rarely unpleasant. If there's a place I wish the weather could be like, it would be Sonoma.

I've also been to Florida a few times, but I don't know how much point there is in talking about Florida extensively. It's basically what it says on the tin; hot, humid and turbulent. The best I ever saw was a thunderstorm that seemed to turn the sky black, which came out of nowhere on a fair day.
