Part 5
Otto: "A Sniper Rifle."
It was a sinister reply to Jakes question. Otto was grasping a black, long gun. It was a sleek weapon of death, much admired by Orkhids.
Jake: "And? You want me to do what with it?"
Jake was sat ontop of a wheely bin down a alleyway. His suit was ragged and torn, he was a shell of his former self. It had been 7 months since the incident and he had grown increasingly attached to Otto. He was his mentaur, protector but most of all his family.
Otto: "I want you to kill with it. Kill your enemies, kill the creatures that took away your home...took away your lively hood."
A titter of amusement seemed to hurtle out of Jakes mouth. He leapt off the wheely bin and snatched the rifle out of Otto' hand, throwing it to the ground he turned away and proceeded to exit the alley.
Otto: "Where are you going!?"
Without turning Jake replied to his question.
Jake: "I'm not a violent person Ot, its not in my nature. They screwed me...sure. But they dont deserve to die for it."
Otto brushed a white strand of hair that fell in front of his face away. His eyes went to pure blackness and red smoke circled around him. Jake turned.
Jake: "Come on...lets get something to eat."
Otto had managed to stop the red smoke from circling, making it disperse into nothingness and changed his eyes back to normal.
Otto: "Ok...where to?"
Jake: "Ermmm...how about we have a walk down south? I hear they have some good stuff there."
The Orkhid smiled a warm smile. One that Jake had never encountered before when he was with Barker.
Otto: "I'll be right there. You go on ahead, i need to take a leak."
Jake nodded his head and turned, exiting the alley. Otto watched him go round the corner. As soon as he was out of sight he dropped to his knee'. His form began to shift...his clothing was already torn and ripped, he managed to pass that off however. Saying he was a outcast from the Orkhid regime. Slowly the body shifted into a dark, shadowy shape. It wasn't solid however, more of a sillouette than anything. The eyes shone white and then darkened to red. He brought his hands in front of his face, they were fading. He needed to change bodies, he needed a host and quickly. With every ounce of energy left in him he concentrated. Managing to stabalise his form and keep the Orkhid appearence. Standing up he coughed, he reached his arm out, pointing it towards the rifle. It flew up into his hand. He grasped it firmly in the middle, a sneaky smile stretched across his face and he then straightened himself up. Coughed again. And headed out of the alley.
