And only one string of letters that does

Apply the 8 slashes to the first 8 sequences then repeat throughout?
Same with the letters apply the 6 slashes over the first 6 then carry foward?
Edit: I mean place the slashes across the sequence and row of letters order to find what should stay or be discarded
