The Let's Plays subforum is legitimate because anyone could make a thread in it at any time in the future. The ARG is a temporary event, so a subforum would be a waste of time to set up.
Also, a hell of a lot more people were complaining about Let's Plays in OD than have ever complained about the ARG.

The way I see it, the let's plays should always be around somewhere at least because these forums provide a kind of advertising to a game that honestly not too many people know about. We gotta keep the oldies alive for the younger generations to see!
