On my 21st birthday I went to my very first music event to see one of my favorite bands, VNV Nation.... I've loved them ever since I was a kid. They're an electronic, industrial group that ranges from grim and depressing, to mystical and dream-like, to badass action, to cheerful heroism, all the way to feel-good optimism.
