I've been thinking about those codes on the Mudokon chests and it seems to me that using tattooed binary code as identification technique is completely sub-optimal.

With six binary characters you can encode 64 (= 2^6) different combinations while with normal decimal values you can have 1000000 different combinations (both including 000000). This means that to obtain the same amount of different combinations they could have easily used only two decimal numbers.

Of course it could be that the Glukkons are well aware of this and simply like to have the chest tattoo to be as intrusive and as painful as possible.
