The friend, whom I was quoting, is an alcoholic and she uses drugs. She has been diagnosed to have panic disorder and schizophrenia. She takes various pills daily and goes nuts without them. She can also be violent, if she hasn't taken her pills. Some unlucky persons have noticed that, if they have had a go at her on a bad morning... And she just ran away from a mental institution for a few months ago, but she was put there for no good reason!
I know she's got issues, but when you know her she's a really nice person!
