Sam is basically like the hive queen/mom of the current batch of Mudokons. Shes being held in captivity right now so all her children are basically born into slavery. We were supposed to end up seeing her in Munch's Oddysee but her subplot didn't end up making the cut (though we do get to save her 'Labor eggs' from Vykker's Lab).
It would be pretty neat if they did end up mentioning her a bit in this one! Maybe as a set up for a later game
