Me and MrsKJJ think picture looks suspiciously like the RuptureFarms Stockyards. The chain-link fence is iconic, and there appears to be a spotlight shining down from the top left corner. Considering this resistance force are calling themselves "The Spirit of 1029", it wouldn't be too far of a stretch to imagine them using the abandoned RuptureFarms as a base of operations.
Many people have already suspected this is Ed carrying what appears to be a warhead. Could they be preparing for war?

I showed the last 3 days of ARG to a friend who knows nothing about Oddworld yet and he said "Ed is in the factory, you must not have got everyone out?"
It's very possible that the Mudokons elsewhere are being lined up for a firing squad in this picture, after what happened in 1029.
