I prefer NnT. I do still think AO is a good game, I just suck at it because there's no quicksaving xD
Concerning storyline, Stranger's Wrath is a separate story from the Abe/Munch one, taking place on the opposite side of the continent and at roughly the same time as Munch's Oddysee (as far as I know). The Oddysee titles were going to be the core story, with spinoffs like Wrath and Exoddus expanding on the world.
