I always picture the original RF so that hadn't even crossed my mind, even tho I was already looking for instances of that logo elsewhere.

Ugh, same here, even though I like the new design, the old one is rooted in my mind. It seems so obvious now that someone pointed it out.
I think it's pretty cool to have a distorted picture of RF as symbol of the SO1029 movement.
