I dont think they would just up and off all their workforce though.
Thered be noone to slave for them, and by the time they find another species to enslave to the scale of Mudokons, they probably would have lost too much in profit to exist as companies anymore.

Bear in mind that in some versions of the story Abe wasn't originally a slave, but rather a local tribesman. It might be that Muds were never going to be slaves, and the Glukkons weren't dependant on them as a workforce.
