That needs to come in the sequel, following the happy ending with the destruction of Rupture Farms and freeing of the Mudokon Slaves, the Cartel now recognise Mudokon's as a liability and order a continent-wide execution of all Mudokon Slaves.
What seemed like a great ending in the first movie was actually a bad ending with horrific consequences with the hindsight of the second movie. Build up your hero, then knock him for 6 in the sequel. Story-telling, yo.

I dont think they would just up and off all their workforce though.
Thered be noone to slave for them, and by the time they find another species to enslave to the scale of Mudokons, they probably would have lost too much in profit to exist as companies anymore.
