Eh, I know it's not an Oddpic, but as I'm quite pleased with how it one turned out, I thought I'd post it... *wonders it it'll post properly, but doubts it*
To those interested parties, this is "Buto" (also "Uadjet") - she was the ancient Egyptian cobra goddess, royal protectress. She wasn't as anthropomorphic as this in "real" life (as in on the temple paintings) but I thought it worked (apart from her wings, which I first ran out of room for all of, then the scanner chewed on a bit, I hope she doesn't mind)... As a sidenote, those people that know what Tutankhamun's death mask looked like - the cobra on the front of it was Buto, and the vulture was Nekhebet, another royal guardian goddess.
